Foreward from the Headteacher

Hello, and a warm welcome to The Gates School Website. Our school is a growing one and, after refurbishment and extension we are now larger than average size for a primary school with nearly 300 children on roll, plus Nursery.

We are proud of our well-behaved, polite, hardworking children and our fantastic staff team. We are also very lucky to be able to work in close partnership with parents and the local community.

Welcome from the Chair of Governors

On behalf of everyone who is part of the community of The Gates Primary School, I welcome you to our website. I trust that it gives you a feel for our warm, happy, hardworking environment, where the excitement of learning brings a real buzz to the lives of everyone.

At The Gates, we aim to provide excellent, personalised educational experiences that lead to all children having appositive attitude to learning. We have the highest expectation of our pupils, aiming for all to enjoy school while fulfilling their potential in our caring, supportive high quality learning environment.
