Good morning all!
We had a great day on LBQ yesterday, almost everyone logged in and completed their tasks. In general, we did well with the semi-colon work but we will continue to work on these another time in the future.
Before I start, thankyou to everyone who completed the non stop challenge over the weekend -
Emily in KS1 managed Platinum by running for 26 minutes! Oliver managed 6 minutes in his local park whilst dressed as Captain America - a fantastic achievement for his age. Also, well done to Jack V in Eagles for an excellent effort in the fields near his house. Make sure you nominate and pass the challenge on to your friends/teachers/parents (I don't think anyone has nominated Miss Fairhurst yet
).
Todays tasks are
1) Read theory x 2
2) TT Rockstars x20mins
3) LBQ code - mix
Maths - We are looking at place value and number this week - focusing mainly on sequencing and counting.
Today you will be looking at counting in powers of 10. I have made a small video below which should explain the basics. You need to be using your place value knowledge to find the appropriate column to work with.
