Mrs Jackson has found a wonderful writing competition for you to complete for this week's writing task. It sounds fantastic! We thought this would be ia great opportunity for you to write about something you have a lot of knowledge about. The competition is asking for pieces of written work relating to any British Wildlife. Now here is the fun part, you can present your writing by constructing a story, a poem, a fact file, a diary entry - it is completely up to you. Now it is not a writing task without a success criteria to help you along, there are things we would still like you to include even though the way you present is not set:

I have used scientific terms e.g habitat, diet etc
I have written in full sentences
I have used capital letters and full stops
I have included adjectives
I have included conjunctions
My writing makes sense to the reader
