Splashing in a river

This week, Eagles class carried out some Geography fieldwork for Bolton Council at a nearby river. We took a number of measurements whilst we were there in order to work out the amount of water that flowed through the river (total discharge) per cubic meter per second. The council had asked us to monitor this due to the rising number of floods recently.
