This morning we were faced with the extreme challenge of building a raft exactly like the protagonist in our class novel, Fred.
just like him, we had only two materials. These happened to be sticks (branches) and wool (vines).
Starlings rose to the challenge! They started to really empathise and understand the challenges Fred faced and how he must have felt when building his raft.

Happy Friday children!
Today is our last day before the holidays. The last 2 weeks have been brilliant. I have loved finding out all about you. I loved seeing you on the Zoom calls and also speaking to your parents at home. Your work on the blog has been ‘Out of this World!’ Well done for all of your work.
Today’s task:
Today is the final challenge and I'm going to ask you to be creative again and use your imagination. Please draw a black dot about the size of a £2 coin on a piece of blank paper. Now I want you to turn this dot into some art. I would love to see what you can come up with. What will your dot become?
Don’t forget to blog your creations!
Have a great day and have the most amazing summer. I can’t wait to see you in September!

Happy Thursday Starlings!
Your work yesterday was amazing, you have all worked so hard. Well done.
Today’s task:
Today I would like you to make an imagination portrait. In the bottom right hand corner, draw or stick a picture of yourself. Then, draw a cloud and inside it draw all the things that you can imagine. The pictures can be anything! What do you like to think about? Do you have any special places or people in your mind that you could draw?
Don’t forget to blog them so that I can see you wonderful work. I would love to display these in September too so keep them somewhere safe for when we return.
Enjoy your day children!
