Today's tasks will be as follows:
1) Read Theory x 2 minimum (aim for 30-45 mins worth)
2) LBQ code - kra
We did well again yesterday on fraction/decimal conversion. Today you are going to be looking at converting decimals into fractions. Please watch the video below first to consolidate your understanding.
3) Writing task (Editing) - This will be due to be submitted on Friday. Todays section of the writing task should be:
- Editing your letter - I have attached a success criteria onto the task SeeSaw which you will need. Make your way through the checklist to see if you have included all of the features. I have also set an EDITING WORK task on LBQ. Make sure you complete this first before the editing itself, it might give you some tips/ideas for your own editing later.
When it is time for your own editing, proof read your work and look for any opportunities to improve vocabulary, spelling, grammar. Check you have a range of sentence types and sentence openers, you need to avoid repeating the same phrases over and over. You could ask someone else to help you read through this if they are not too busy - it is always good to ask others to read an important piece of work as sometimes they can spot things you may have missed.
4) Afternoon topic web work - Choose an activity to work on this week and upload to SeeSaw when completed.
