In writing, 84% achieved the expected standard, compared to 69% nationally. The children demonstrated excellent attitudes to learning and high levels of resilience throughout the year. Our virtual tour
A very warm welcome to our school website!
The Gates Primary School is a very special school where our dedicated staff challenge all our children to be aspirational, supporting their hopes and dreams during their learning journey with us. We aim to create a nurturing and inspirational learning community which encourages and supports our amazing children in the pursuit of their ambitions.
Our core values, Growth, Achievement, Teamwork, Enjoyment and Success are embedded throughout our school. We have high expectation of each other, recognise each person as an individual and treat everyone with respect.
We are committed to every one of our children and offer an exciting curriculum which gives all pupils the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and to achieve the highest possible standards in all aspects of life while preparing them for the next stage in their education. We work in close partnership with our families, governors and the wider community.
We believe that we are setting up our children for the world outside. We want to inspire the children and want them to remember primary school with fondness and a real excitement about all the things they have been able to do, and apply, when they go out in the world. We want our children to enjoy their time and education with us, to have great memories and to have lots of fun!
The Gates is a unique place and we hope this website will give you a flavour of our school -where we believe your child will thrive, be happy and become a lifelong learner.
