Welcome to The Gates!
This website has been designed to give you an insight into the life of our school, help answer any questions you might have and encourage you come along and find out more about us. As the Executive Headteacher of the school, I feel privileged to work alongside such incredible children, talented and dedicated staff and governors and such supportive parents and carers.
The Gates Primary School is a very special school, where we believe your child will thrive, be happy and become a lifelong learner. We aim to create a nurturing and inspirational learning community, which encourages and supports all our children in the pursuit of their ambitions.
Our core values, Growth, Achievement, Teamwork, Enjoyment and Success are embedded throughout our school. We have high expectation of each other, recognise each person as an individual and treat everyone with respect.
We are committed to every one of our children and offer an exciting curriculum, which gives all pupils the opportunity to develop a wide range of knowledge and skills to achieve the highest possible standards in all aspects of life, while preparing them for the next stage in their education. At The Gates, our children learn more and remember more. When they leave us at the end of Year 6, they reflect on their time at primary school with fondness and a real excitement about all the things they have been able to do, and apply, when they go out in the world.
