Good morning! I can't believe it's May already
The responses on LBQ were amazing yesterday, thank you again to those who are working hard. There are still a few people who are not accessing LBQ at all or completing a couple of questions and then logging off - please make sure you are doing this daily. I completely understand that this new way of working is difficult but it is important for us to keep working to hard to prepare us for a big year next year.

Maths - Estimating amoutns of money
You all did excellently on yesterdays work. So moving on from that is estimating amounts. You need to look at the amounts given and possibly round them up or down to get a good estimation. Depending on the question you might need to round them to the nearest £1, £10, £100 etc.

Star of the Week award
Star of the Week award is back! Each week I will be looking at the work and deciding on who to pick for my award. I can only choose one person each week so please don't think that I haven't noticed your efforts if your name isn't picked - it is mathematically impossible for me to choose everyone who has worked hard that week. I found it hard this week as there have been 6-7 people so far who consistently complete every task - I am very impressed with you all. Mrs Forshaw is also doing her headteachers nominations so keep an eye out for that.
