SPAG -

Today, your SPAG focuses on Using inverted commas and other punctuation to show direct speech.

Remember:

Direct speech is 'a repeat of the exact words spoken'.

Inverted commas "___" are used to show direct speech and they are used at the start of the direct speech and at the end.

A reporting clause tells you who said it and how they said it. e.g James shouted, "Over there!"

4) Written task - Please read the SeeSaw task carefully to find out what you need to complete for today. I have broken it down into daily steps.

5) Afternoon topic web - Zero submissions yesterday, if there are any problems please let me know and I can resolve them for you as quickly as possible. You could also use the opportunity to create a short project on an inspirational person. Just make sure you are uploading to SeeSaw.

Remember to schedule in some excercise into your day, stay safe and be kind to everyone. There are some important issues being discussed on Newsround this week and now would be a great time to listen and educate ourselves further. If you decide to do any extra research or projects on the issues discussed - remember to upload it.

Be kind.
