Good morning! 

Today's tasks are as follows:

1) Read theory x 2

2) Times tables rockstars (20mins)

3) LBQ code - hbt

English - For English today you are going to reattempt a short grammar revision activity. Try and do this as independently as possible today. It will give me an indication of where we are up to and what areas I need to focus on moving forwards.

Maths - Adding numbers with more than 4 digits.  We will moving on to solving multi-step questions later on in the week. Before we do this, we need to refine our addition and subtraction skills. 

4) Writing task - I have attached our new writing task on SeeSaw. It is based around VE day (an extremely important event in world history). I would recommend that you spend today researching VE day and creating a bank of information that you could use to help you with your writing.

5) Afternoon topic web task -  Using this time to find further VE day information could prove useful in improving your writing for the week. There are some good videos to watch on the Bitesize link I shared on SeeSaw.

 

I have enjoyed reading last weeks writing task - well done to those who submitted this. I am in the process of marking them all individually and sending it back to you. I really appreciate your efforts. It would be nice if we could get a full house on submissions and LBQ tasks this week - lets make it a good week!
