Kingfishers Home Learning June 1st

Date: 1st Jun 2020 @ 8:55am

Hello again everyone,

I hope you all had an amazing half term and enjoyed the wonderful weather this weekend. I'd love to hear what you've all been up to over the past week. I've found some nice new walks/runs near my house which have been keeping me busy after work. I've also been trying to get a kitten from a local rescue centre so I will let you know how things are going with that!

Todays tasks are:

1) Read theory x2

2)Times tables rockstars

3) LBQ code -    kkw

SPAG apostrophes - The following links will help you.

Maths - Multiplying numbers by 10

The first 5 questions on the task should act as a good input for this task if you read the feedback carefully.

4) Writing task - Check SeeSaw tasks for infoprmation on this weeks writing

Remember submission is on Friday. We had some excellent pieces of writing last week. Here are a few examples.

5) Spellings - check SeeSaw tasks for this weeks spellings.

6) Afternoon topic web  - Try and choose an activity which could be done outside in this amazing weather - maybe Task 2 or 4 would be perfect for a day like today.

Our Weekly Recommendation

This week’s recommendation is SUPER EXCITING!

JK Rowling is giving children the opportunity to have their drawings published in her new book - The Ickabog - when it is published in the autumn. There is guidance on what to draw as well as links to the chapters which have been released online.

Here is the link for further details:

Have a good day everyone, remember to try the non-stop challenge if you get a chance and add your results and nominations to the discussion feed.
