Puffins - Our First Music and Geography Lessons

Today we had our first music lesson. We were learning how to stop and start using visual clues. We also explored how one insrument can make different sounds. I was so proud of all the children, they used and explored the instruments really sensibly. Fanastic listening Puffins! 

We also had our first Geography lesson today. This half term we will be learning all about the United Kingdom so we began our topic by asking what the UK was. We had a variety of answers ranging from 'a place with electricity to charge ipads' to 'a little tiny thing with all the world like around it'. So today we looked at the four countries that made up the United Kingdom. We then drew our own maps of the United Kingdom and labelled it. Take a look at some of our amazing maps.
