Owls Home Learning 12.05.20

Date: 11th May 2020 @ 10:19pm

Good morning my little oranges!

I hope you had a wonderful Monday. I had a lovely birthday - I was very fortunate to have lots of phone calls and cards and presents sent through the post.

I've been so impressed by your work on IXL - since Easter you have answered nearly 56,000 questions! That is amazing!!

Yesterday we had 6 people who answered more than 200 questions:

Ethan - 205

Luke - 294

Tristan - 260

Eli - 207

Junior - 297

Max P - 200

Excellent work - well done!!

Today's home learning is:

IXL - Maths - Understand Subtraction - F3, F4, F5

IXL - English - Prepositions - R1, R2

Don't forget there are 2Dos on Purple Mash and reading comprehensions on Read Theory.

It's been really lovely to see that some of you are developing new skills whilst you are away from school. This week we've had one person learning how to rollerblade and another practising their drumming skills. Way to go!!

We've also had children who are furthering their Science learning at home. Here, one person created a solar oven - to use the sun's rays to melt chocolate and another tried to imagine what it would be like to write in space, so used his table to help. What creative ways to extend your learning!

Keep up all of your wonderdul learning Owl Class - I'm one very proud teacher!!
