Owls Home Learning 21.04.20

Date: 20th Apr 2020 @ 9:52pm

Good morning my little cabbages! I hope you had a great day yesterday. I can't believe how many questions you've answered on IXL so far, you're all working so hard whilst at home and I'm so proud of you!

It's been really lovely seeing your blog posts come through today. I love seeing your smiling faces and I'm so pleased to see that you're able to keep busy whilst school is closed. I may even steal some of your ideas to try at home! Here are some of photos from the blogs today: we've had people looking at plants and minibeasts, junk modelling, digging and planting flowers, making food for birds and hedgehogs, making space suits and rainbows and doing practical maths learning outside. Junior made yummy looking chocolate brownies and scientist Max M made a volcanic reaction! Well done all!

Today's home learning is:

IXL: Maths - Measurement - R10, R11

Remember, when answering words problems, you need to think about how you can work it out. A good idea is to use the bar model. Here's my example of using the bar model to work out the answer:

IXL English - Verbs - O12, O13, O14

Don't forget your writing task to be completed on Purple Mash this week and practise your spellings on the class discussion (found on your own blog!).

Have a wonderful Tuesday all and keep those blog posts coming in.
