Star of the Week – Swallows

GOOD MORNING TO YOU ALL!

Well done Hibah! Through this ‘strange’ period you have shown true resilience, courtesy through the blogs and some outstanding learning. Remember how far you have come; it is truly inspirational to think how much progress you have made at The Gate and your effort is to be really proud of. I am overjoyed to be able to ‘hand’ this to you, I know your Mum and Dad will be proud! Keep up that superb effort and as with the others before you, we will have our celebration when you return to school, it will not be that far into the future! Keep smiling, working, and learning – your growth mindset has improved hugely!

A massive thanks to you all again for your efforts this week with some tricky place-value learning. We have had to go through many of the questions again as I have been in school, using whiteboards with the pupils there, including some challenges regarding exchanging and regrouping. Keep sharing your feelings, I do feel it is ok to be nervous about this period, it is all new to us all! The best way to ger through is by loving your families, staying as positive as ever and keeping busy. Stay safe and look out for each other, and Morrisey and The Smiths once said, ‘There is a light and it never goes out!’
