Good morning children, 

Today is the 1st day of July. Not long now until our summer break so keep going with your home learning for one last push!

Today’s learning:

Today’s learning is using the Oak Academy for both English and Maths. Some of the maths videos only have a few questions to complete so you can use ixl to support any learning at home if you would like to. I have listed possible codes below. They are purely a suggestion, not expected.

English

The English task for today is the first of 3 lessons. When you have watched all 3 videos, you will be able to complete the writing task. Look at the discussion blog for all 3 video links if you want a head start.

There will be new tasks set on the discussion blogs so look out for these. The writing will link to the Oak Academy English tasks which you complete this week so this should help you with your task.  

Our Recommendation:

Our recommendation this week is for the National Geographic website. Here you will find lots of different brain busters, investigations, information about animals and also quizzes and video clips galore! Enjoy.
