What an amazing day we have had! Today we had the most amazing visit from 2 of our very special mummy’s, that are also paramedics! When they came to visit us they brought their ambulance, we were so excited to climb aboard and see all the equipment inside and listen to how they help us! We even got to sit in the drivers seat and start the siren!

This week we have been continuing to work on our counting and number recognition. To add a little challenge, Penguins had to count how many holes in the numicon and find the matching numbered key to unlock it! This was great for their fine motor too!
We have also looked at counting objects that can’t be moved, they worked hard on finding a strategy and the found the correct matching peg!

To continue to develop our knowledge of our body parts as part of our topic we learnt a new song. The bean bag song helped us look at the beats in a word which is great for our phonics as well. We moved around the classroom and had to balance the bean bag on different parts of our body when the song told us too.
