How's the day been so far? I've been checking how well you are doing again today and I'm not disappointed. Some highlights below...

Happy Friday Puffins!
Hope that you are all safe and well. Yesterday, I went for a very long walk with my children and we have been doing the PE with Joe Wicks every morning. This morning when I woke up I could hardly move! Have you been doing any PE with Joe Wicks or similar? Did anyone clap at 8pm last night for the NHS and other frontline workers? All of our street did and it was great to hear. I also saw the International Space Station fly over my house! I will do a seperate blog about this. We would love to hear from you in a Blog as we are missing you all lots.
Keep smiling and using your Worry Monsters if you need them.

Hope that you have managed to enjoy a bit of the sunshine yesterday.
How many activities have you managed to cross off from the Home Activity Bingo that we made in the last week? We have done two at my house; we made a den and we wrote a letter to a Grandparent.
You have achieved another certificate! Well done, keep this up! Some children still haven't accessed iXL please let school know if you are having any problems and we will support with this.

20.03.20 Puffin Class write letters

In light of recent news, we wanted to cheer up people in our community. This morning we wrote letters to the residents at our local residential home and drew pictures.

In school we follow the 100 book challenge which offers lots of exciting books for your children to read.
Here are the titles of the books which make up the challenge. It would be fantastic if all children continue with their daily reading by reading some of these books at home.

The children in Puffin's class are enjoying our Mexico topic. In Geography, they researched facts about Mexico using books and information cards and learnt about a small village called Tocuaro. Children had the opportunity to create Tocuaro masks. We are even using our research to write a non- chronological report in English. Super work Puffins!

The children were sent problems from Book Day characters today in Maths. Goldilocks needed to have help measuring out party drinks, Harry Potter needed us to sort his potions and Horrid Henry needed us to solve a problem.
