School Improvement

As reflected in our school values, growth, achievement and continual improvement are integral to who we are at The Gates. We use a wide range of monitoring and evaluation activities (within school and through external professionals) to check the impact of our work and inform our next steps. This forms part of our school improvement cycle.

We assess in the previous academic year areas that we need to develop in order to make our school even better and what we need to do to improve further. We always act swiftly on any recommendations from external audits or professionals to provide the best we can for all of the children and staff at The Gates.

We also actively participate in collaborative local clusters and networks to strengthen our improvement and are proud to provide school-to-school support and development to others.
