Kingfishers Home Learning 5th June
Date: 5th Jun 2020 @ 8:55am
Friday again - it feels like the weeks are flying by at the moment. Yesterday was one of our best days yet in regards to task completion percentage. I was also impressed/curious to see how many people completed the Science LBQ in comparison to how many submissions I was receiving on SeeSaw for homework web tasks - if you do not know your SeeSaw login details can you please email the office and I can send you them over ASAP. It is a requirement that you know these details as SeeSaw will make up a huge part of your home learning from now on.
Tasks for today -
1) Read theory x 2
2) Spelling test - submit to SeeSaw.
3)LBQ tasks - udy
Maths - final challenge on multiplying by x10,100,1000
Today you will be moving up to multiplying and dividing by 1000. This will mean a 3 place jump to the left for multiplying and a 3 place jump to the right for dividing.
English - formal and informal language.

4) Written task to be submitted today - this, along with the LBQ tasks and reading, is one of your most important tasks of the day. There are a group of people who consistently complete this every week. It is really important we keep up our writing whilst at home. I would like to see more submissions today and moving forward please!
5) Homework web - use the homework web to completer a task and upload to SeeSaw or alternatively complete the Science LBQ task.
Star of the Week
There are so many of you who deserve this award however I have chosen Dennis this week - he has really stood out to me recently and I can tell that he is trying really hard at home. Every day, when I check the LBQ tasks, I can see that Dennis has been up early and made a great start to his learning - well done Dennis, keep it up! I am very proud.
Check out the Headteacher's Award video to see who was nominated this week.
Well done on another hard working week - I hope you all have an amazing weekend!
