Good morning penguins! 

I hope you have all had a really good long weekend and manage to enjoy the lovely sunshine.  We spent lots of time playing in the garden and I even had time to read my book.  It looks like you have been having lots of fun with your VE Day parties.

Maths

Last week we looked at doubling and halving so today I thought we would look at some new learning; sharing!

Literacy

Our new story this week is going to be Three Billy Goats Gruff.  If you have the story at home read it or try and find the story online to listen too.

Today we are going to write about the character. Can you write at least 2 sentences to describe the Three Billy Goats Gruff?

Challenge:  Can you use the story opener Once upon a time to start your character sentences off?  I have attached a blank copy of the writing frame if you want to use that to help with your writing.

 

Let’s see how many tricky words you can remember today?  If you know your phase 3 ones now try and practise your phase 4 trick words?
