Penguins 1st June Home Learning

Date: 31st May 2020 @ 11:13am

Good morning penguins!

I hope you all had a lovely half term and managed to get out in the lovely sunshine.  We spent lots of time in the garden in the paddling pool and out walking.  We walked up to Darwen Tower which, Elsie and Arthur loved!

This week I thought we would take the chance to recap on the learning we have already looked at during our homelearning to see what you can remember. Let us see how much you can do independently.

Maths

Today we are going to recap on addition using a numberline and by counting back.  Have a look at the videos again to remind you.

Then, choose 2 numbers and add them together. Can you record your answers in a number sentence.

Challenge:  Remember you can challenge yourself by using bigger numbers.

Literacy

I cannot wait to hear about what you have been up to over the half term, can you write at least 3 sentences about what you have been up to.  Try and start your sentences in different ways.  I have added a WAGOLL below for you to look at.
