Good morning penguins! 

You all worked so hard yesterday, lets see if we can have another day the same today.  Don’t forget to blog the learning you can do at home so I can see.

Maths

We are going recap on taking away this week.

Have another look at the videos today, I have also added a counting back in our heads video.   If you could do the taking away method you used yesterday challenge yourself today with the next one today.

Can you answer these questions?

Challenge Can you use the counting back method to work the answers out in these tricky number sentence?

I will add a number square to help you as these are quite tricky!

Literacy

Reread or watch the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Watch the settings video.  Can you write me 2 sentences today about the setting?  What does it look like?  What would it feel like? What could you hear?

 

Challenge: can you add an adjective into your sentence? 

 You could draw or paint a picture too. 

Red group can you write at least 3 sentences, make sure they have an adjective in each one and can you use the conjunction 'and’ and ‘but’.

Can you do phase 3 flash cards today please? (red group can you do phase 4 and then 5)  How many sounds do you know?  Make a note of the sounds you don’t know and then try and practise these so next time you know them!
