Revisiting rationing

As part of their ongoing topic, Swallows sampled a few delicacies from the war that would have been easy to create and produce with very little ingredients. The children took it in turns to taste each product, then pass comment on their taste and texture. The children worked with their table groups and worked well as a team, leading well into the schools target for this week.

The products sampled were fruit cake, digestive biscuits, scones, sponge cake and dark chocolate. Fabulous learning Swallows!
