Robins Class Home Learning - 22.4.20

Date: 22nd Apr 2020 @ 8:13am

Happy Wednesday Robins 😊

I can’t believe that we are halfway through the week already, it is going so fast. It was great to see the blog updates yesterday some of you have been really busy. One of Robins class has learned to ride their bike and have ridden 28km this week already! Well done, it’s a super skill to learn, you should be very proud of yourself.  She has also been busy planting seeds, I can't wait to see how they grow.

Chloe has been busy doing her topic homework and has made this really informative Olympic poster of where the Olympics have taken place the past few times. Well done Chloe!

Today’s home learning is as follows:

IXL

IXL has been renewed and should be back up and running to use at home. However, there is a change with your username and password.

Most of you have your new username now as your first and last name followed by 393, for example misswoodward393. However, a couple of you have your first name and last name followed by 421, for example misswoodward421. Your password will remain the same.

Maths – Year 2 – Time – W.7, W.8, W.9

English – Verbs – O.7, O.8, O.9

Special shoutouts

Lola B answered a ton of questions yesterday and I could see her skill really improve and Ire was on IXL for over 3 hours. Well done guys, great dedication. It is great to see so many of you on, in two days, as a class, you have answered over 7,000 questions already this week!

It would be great to see some more of you on readtheory this week, I would aim to do one a day, the expectation is that you do 5 each week. Harris, Lola T and Bea have already done that this week and Amelia, Isabelle, Zak and Emily are well on the way to it as well.

Don’t forget there are 2Dos set on Purple Mash. Times Table Rockstars is also available too, it is great to see some of you improving your times tables knowledge.
