World War Workshop

Swallows took part in a wonderfully inspiring workshop today that allowed them to experience all that their ‘Britain At War’ topic has so far has revealed. The children were inspired by a soldier who led them from the beaches of Normandy to the streets of London during the Blitz, with tales of heroism and togetherness. A great way to start the week Swallows!

The children asked questions, showed their knowledge and listened intently to the facts and experiences of ‘another generation’, some that have even been members of our families. Well done with some fabulous learning!
