Yesterday we we did some role in PSHCE. We looked at different scenarios that might happen in school and role played how we would solve them. Apparently Miss Woodward’s acting is not very good according to the Robin’s class, she’s too dramatic!

We were talking about being a good friend in PSHE today when Mrs Lenagan asked us to squeeze out toothpaste…and then put it back in! We explained that we can’t do that and then compared this to unkind words said to other people. Just like the toothpaste, the words that we say, once out are irreversible to take back.

This week we have been learning all about Mental Health under the theme of Find your Brave. We have listened to The Lion Inside story and talked about when we have been brave and how we felt before and after. We have also raised the profile of this by wearing our jumpers inside out…because inside matters too! The children have identified a trusted adult who could help them find their brave because being brave doesn’t mean that you have to do things all alone!

Outdoor counting in 2s, 5s and 10s.
